BREAKFAST IS BACK
After much anticipation, we are pleased to announce that we are bringing breakfast back to Newton! We’ve all heard that “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” and we all know that it is true, but more importantly, students who eat breakfast make fewer mistakes and complete their school work more efficiently. They also perform better on standardized tests and show improvement in their memory recall, attention, and reaction to frustration.
Middle school students will have their choice of cold breakfast, available daily. They will be able to choose from assorted cereals, organic low fat yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, milk, danish, bagels, muffins and yogurt parfaits. The price will be $2.00 and will be served each morning.
